La Saison Sportive sources traceable, ethically produced, mulesing-free merino wool from select Australian farms with Gold level Cradle to Cradle certifications. The yarns are processed in Italian factories powered by hydroelectric and solar energy.
Manufacturing
La Saison Sportive's products are made to order in Brooklyn using 3D knitting machines. This minimizes production waste and carbon emissions, while enabling some unique knitting techniques.
Packaging
La Saison Sportive incorporates recycled packaging and minimizes excess packaging. As with everything related to sustainability, this isn't perfect; it's a start.
